Indonesia Tempe House as the only pilot production of hygienic and environmentally friendly soybean in Indonesia to implement wastewater treatment systems using biogas reactor.
The advantages of this technology are able to reduce COD and BOD up to 80% . In addition to this technology has minimal maintenance costs and produce methane gas as a fuel source . This environmentally friendly technology should adopted by the other tempe producers. This action will be not only effect to the environmental sustainability but also maintain the continuity of business not to disturb the environment. Biogas technology can also be used communally so that the value of the investment can be reduced. In Indonesia Tempe House, liquid waste that has been processed in a biogas reactor back on to air filtration using filter, activated charcoal, zeolite, gravel and sand.
